Anyone want to see my gash?

WARNING – I will be posting photos of my bruising and my knee wound… if you are of a sensitive disposition then I suggest you skip this blog post. If however, you are a weirdo like me, with a fascination for all things medical, then pull up a chair!

Saturday 29th Feb – 1 week down – I am doing OK, just OK. Pain is manageable, and is only a problem if I don’t manage it, so forgetting to take them isn’t advisable! Doh!

I now have enough movement in my leg to be able to cycle on the exercise bike, I limited it to a few minutes, it’s painful, but it’s a start. I’m obviously continuing with the physio exercises too, 4 times a day, and regularly using the Aircast Cryo/Cuff (for cold and compression)… what a brilliant bit of kit that is!

Picture time!

50 shades!
The wound is about 12 cm long

Pretty amazing Steve! It looks surprisingly clean to me.
    Keep exercising and good luck.

When sat, put your foot on a tea tray on the carpet, and use your foot to slide it backwards and forwards. That way you can continue to flex your knee from the comfort of your sofa.
    Get well soon !
